If you have been following my posts about the history of the 1921 Tulsa Race Riot, you know that in the mid-to-late 1990s, I researched this event and authored 4 novels. At that time, I struggled to find any information at all. The city of Tulsa had gone to great lengths to bury the information. Still and yet, my novels give a fairly clear portrayal.

In later years, however, the world began to awaken to  the truth of the horrors of this infamous riot.

The video featured in this post includes interviews not only survivors of the riot, but many of the white folk who remembered details of the incident quite clearly. This is also during the time of the release of the documentary “Before They Die,” which added to the disclosure of the events as they actually happened.
